HEY THAR

Mon Apr 13, 2009, 3:15 PM
  • Mood: Tired
  • Listening to: Blonde Redhead
  • Reading: Reading in the Dark, Carpe Jugulum
  • Watching: Nothing.
  • Playing: Nothing.
  • Eating: Pasta Florentine
  • Drinking: Hot tea
Charleston was effing lovely. It was too much pretty to handle at first, but I think I'll be okay going there. The astronomy professor I met is really cool and showed me the observatory. I'm excited for science.

The Easter Vigil was really beautiful. I'm very excited for Ben. His sponsor had a mullet. I thought that was funny. I still think that it's funny. Charleston has a new bishop and he seems like a Very Cool Guy. (Much better than Charlotte's bishop, let me tell you.)

I GOT TO SEE THE GAMBLES AND IT WAS REALLY EXCITING.

I ALSO GOT STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR AND THAT WAS LESS EXCITING!

I don't want to go back to school tomorrow, only because I have a lot of stuff to do before Wednesday and before next Monday and I'm so worried about having enough time to finish it. Higher Achievement is off this week, so my evenings are free, but I'm still figuring an all-nighter tomorrow night may just happen.

Also, I went to the Mint Museum of Art yesterday and they had Masterworks from New Orleans, the touring exhibit that is going around while they repair the New Orleans museum of art. And there was some freakishly awesome stuff. There were a couple of really cool Max Ernst paintings and Miro and O'Keeffe and Kandinsky and Degas...and my head almost exploded.

Thankfully it didn't.

Sharpen knives. Every night. When he/she walks by, mutter "soon, soon"....
:iconboycottnike:
HOLY JESUS.

How long is it going to be there?

Also, the other day I went to the Hirshhorn Museum as one of the last things I did in DC, and it was really awesome and you should go if you get the chance.

Um, not totally sure. But I can check the blog-o-spheres. And I'd like to just tour the world, going to art museums...and libraries.

Say, did Whiteside make you watch Stone Reader in English last year?

Yeah, he did. I ended up liking it, although I'm not entirely sure that I want to read the book.

I am rather excited to see you.

I was thinking about you again, because I'm doing my Heart of Darkness MWDS and I was listening to TMBG. And I was feeling pretty righteous and I thought, "This must be what Laura's life is like, except with a lot more science."

Yay!!! I hope your Catholicism is kickin ass.
